Baltic companies at the Fancy Food Show in NYC

On July 2, 2018 Global Commerce Education participated in an educational and networking event hosted by the Baltic American Chamber’s of Commerce (BACC) for Baltic companies who exhibited at the Fancy Food Show NY. Topics included U.S. food regulations and the benefits and intricacies of Kosher certification.

GCE Helps Baltic companies prepare for the International Contemporary Furniture Fair

On May 20, 2018 Global Commerce Education and the Baltic American Chamber of Commerce (BACC) offered a workshop to help companies from the Baltic States prepare for their participation in the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) in New York.
The workshop was provided by BACC member, Founder and CEO of Global Commerce Education, Sophie Lechner.
Workshop participants were representatives from Lithuanian, Estonian and Finnish luxury furniture producers and designers, who attended ICFF.

Breakfast Briefing with the Foreign Minister of Lithuania

On May 18, 2018 Global Commerce Education was invited by the Baltic American Chamber of Commerce (BACC) to participate in a breakfast briefing by Lithuanian Foreign Minister Mr. Linas Linkevicius, on the Trade and Investment Climate in Lithuania. A very constructive conversation was held regarding how to better publicize Lithuania and its business success stories, and how to better introduce Lithuania's entrepreneurs to business opportunities in the U.S.
Cross-cultural workshop for French and American Executives a Big Success

U.S. Baltic Business Summit in Washington DC
April 03, 2018
On April 3, 2018, a U.S. Baltic Business Summit was hosted by the US Chamber of commerce in partnership with the Baltic American Chamber of Commerce (BACC). It was led by the three Baltic country leaders - President Kersti Kaljulaid of Estonia, President Raimond Vejonis of Latvia, and President Dalia Grybauskaite of Lithuania. BACC invited Global Commerce Education to join the 400 attendees from both Baltic and American companies. Strengthening business relationships, investment partnerships, and trade were key areas of discussion.

Cutting Edge Finnish companies visit NYC

Thirteen successful Finnish companies descended upon NYC to explore the potential of the US Market, learn the ropes, make connections and pitch to investors and potential clients. It was a pleasure to share our experience and to make valuable introductions for them.
